Natural Pixie

showcasing pixie cuts (close cropped) on natural* hair.

*Note: I'm expanding my vocab so that 'natural' doesn't just mean kinky hair or unprocessed hair. I hope you do, too.

sweetmorningepiphany asked: I loveeee your hair cut. I saw a photo of your hair when it was blond and shorter and I love it. I'm five months into my transition but after seeing this cut for the past three weeks i'm thinking if I should do a semi big chop now. I would have to leave some relaxed ends of course for styling. Do you think this is a good idea or no. Please help.

Hi! Hmmm might not have been a pic of me since I’ve never dyed my natural hair. I’m a fan of true BCs (no relaxed ends at all) for two reasons. First when you have two textures it’s more likely to damage both the tips n the roots bc the texture is so different. Second only having your own natural texture forces you to fall in love w your natural texture n for some that’s the hardest part of transitioning. It can be scary to do a drastic bc but I’m a bootcamp kinda girl :-) hope that helps!
